Director

Jane has been active working and volunteering on behalf of people with developmental disabilities for many years. She started her career with the late Dr. Wolfensberger who was instrumental in the development of supports for families and people with disabilities. This experience is congruent with the mission of Legacy Homes in assisting families to support a disabled member to live in their own home in the community. She worked for many years as a professor in the Developmental Services Worker Program at Loyalist College in Belleville, and has also worked in residential services, and early childhood education services. She has been active on many committees, including BDACI in the past, and currently is a member of the Southern Ontario Training Group, and the North American Social Role Valorization Council.   ​​
